Family Dog I Basic Class
Learn how to train your dog to be a well-behaved member of your pack with effective, force-free methods. This foundation class is perfect for beginners or dog parents who wish to review their training skills. Family Dog 1 includes instruction on understanding how your dog learns, Leadership, Socialization, Leash Manners, how to deal with unwanted behaviors such as Jumping, and basic cues like Sit, Come, Leave It, and Go To Your Spot/Place.
For dogs 12 weeks of age and up.

Family Dog II Intermediate Class
This is the perfect class to take your dog’s training to the next level and improve your training skills. Family Dog 2 includes how to teach a Reliable Emergency Recall, Formal Recall, introduction to Clicker Training and practice and proofing of cues like Stay, Come, and Leave It.
For dogs who have completed Basic Class or similar.

Therapy Dog
This class is an excellent training foundation for therapy or service dog work, and everyday good behavior. Instruction includes review of basic cues, Go Say Hi, familiarization with equipment such as a walker, greeting another handler and dog, and more. A Control Evaluation is included and can enable dogs to begin the process of joining the Love on a Leash Therapy Pet program.
For dog-friendly dogs who have completed Basic Class or similar.

Puppy Start Clinic
Learn how to start your puppy off the right way. Instruction includes how to build confidence, socialize properly, deal with puppy biting, teach bite inhibition, and more. Puppy play happily included.
For puppies between 10 and 18 weeks of age.

AKC Canine Good Citizen
The American Kennel Club's CGC is a certification program that promotes responsible dog ownership and recognizes dogs with good manners at home and in the community. CGC is a logical foundation class for therapy or service dog work. Class includes 3 weeks of practice. The CGC test is included and held on Week 4. Dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate/title from the AKC.

AKC Trick Dog, Novice
Trick dog training has become one of the most exciting areas in dog training. To earn the Novice Trick Dog Title, dogs perform 10 skills from the AKC List. CGC Dogs can do 5 tricks to earn the Novice Title. Class includes 2 weeks of practice. Evaluations are also included and completed on Week 3.
For dogs of all ages who have completed Basic Class or similar.

Urban Paws Training Walk
We live in an urban community and it's important for our dogs to be well behaved when we're out and about. Urban Paws is a fun, real-life training walk in the Cedros District designed to help with your dog's focus. Instruction includes review for Leave It and Watch Me.
For dog-friendly dogs who have completed Basic Class or similar.
