Canine Good Citizen

The American Kennel Club's CGC is a certification program that promotes responsible dog ownership and rewards dogs with good manners at home and in the community.  CGC is also a logical foundation class for therapy or service dog work.  Class includes 4 weeks of practice.  The CGC test is included and held Week 5.  Dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the AKC.
